Description:

When I lived in Michigan working on my Graduate degree at Cranbrook in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, I spent a great deal of time absorbing the Visual Arts Scene in Downtown Detroit.

The influence of that City on my work was a profound one and lead to the creation of works that took inspiration from the urban environment. I was more interested in creating assemblages and constructions than anything else at the time. Recently, I have returned to drawing, but the paintings and constructions I created hold a special place in my body of work.
