Description:

For this drawing I wanted to experiment with more basic colours and forms.  Unlike many of the other Japanese inspired works, I elected not to use text.   What I was looking for was a more direct way of expressing myself in an intimate format.

The shapes, themes and subject matter here are those I have explored before, but never in this way or to this degree of simplicity.
